About This Project

Project Overview:

This interactive map displays GIS Master's programs across the United States. Each program is categorized by its primary focus, Professional, Research, or Mixed, to help prospective students, educators, and researchers explore GIS graduate education across the U.S.

This visualization is one of the map products developed for my M.S. thesis titled “GIScience Education from Faculty Careers to Student Training: A Dual Perspective on Academic and Professional Development.”
